The Pass Plus course is much more than just a few extra lessons. This course has been specially designed by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA), with the help of insurers and the driving instruction industry.

 

You can take the Pass Plus course within a year of passing your practical driving test.

 

The course is designed to: -

 

 

* Gain valuable driving experience safely

 

* Build on your existing skills and knowledge

 

* Reduce your risk of being in a road crash

 

* Save money on car insurance premiums

 

* Boost your confidence

 

 

There are six elements of the pass plus course that will need to be covered, they are:-

 

 

* In town

 

* Out of town

 

* Dual Carriageways

 

* Motorways

 

* In all weathers

 

* At night

 

There is no test at the end of this course but you must do a minimum of 6 hours training, when your instructor is satisfied with your performance you will receive a certificate from the Driving Standards Agency (DSA). This certificate will earn you a substantial discount on your car insurance.
